Some of you are well aware, while others may not have had the pleasure of discovering that my little princess has a special relationship with creeping, slithering, jumping things.  Her father never misses an opportunity to nurture that bond.  Here, he has placed some small creature in my bathtub for some interaction:

Just a week or so ago, we encountered what is called a walking stick here in TX.  He was a pretty good size, so she needed to warm up to him a little, but of course Dad was there to help:

So Here’s that critter close up- hence the name “walking stick”
