Strawberry Cake (Shared by Joyce Garcia)
1 strawberry cake mix (I love Pillsbury)
1 sm box strawbery jello (3 oz)
¾ cup oil (vegetable or canola is fine)
1 lb. frozen strawberries (they come in a box thingy with juice or syrup/thawed)
Take out ½ cup of the strawberries and juice and set aside. Mix everything else together.
Bake in two round or 1 9×13 pan at 350 for about 30 minutes. Keep checking, the cake will be very moist.
½ cup of the strawberries and juice that you set aside
1 lb powdered sugar
1 stick butter (not margarine)
1 8 oz cream cheese
Usually this cake is so moist it barely holds together and the cake can slip and slide if you have layers. Keep refrigerated because of the cream cheese frosting. Sometimes I put chocolate dipped strawberries on top. Enjoy!
